Aims
- To transfer the PESCALEX materials to Turkey, Hungary, Galicia, Spain)
- To translate all PESCALEX materials into Hungarian, Turkish, Galician
- To transfer the fish health/diseases content to new users
- To combine innovative (VOLL) language learning with tutor-led & ODL methods
What was achieved
- Multilingual website portal containing all deliverables.
- Online language learning modules (VOLL) with audio input in English, Greek, French, Spanish, Norwegian, Polish, Hungarian, Turkish, Galician
- Online glossary of fish diseases in English, Greek, French, Spanish, Norwegian, Polish, Hungarian, Turkish, Galician
- Printed handbook with 11 beginner language modules (in English, Greek, French, Spanish, Norwegian, Polish, Hungarian, Turkish, Galician, Portuguese, Swedish)
- International Workshop for dissemination to farmers and for playing language game (English, French, Hungarian, Spanish)
- Diagnostic Tool for diagnosis of Turbot diseases (English, French, Hungarian, Spanish).
- The Diagnostic Tool (www.pescalextool.org) designed and developed by AQUARK, using fish pathology information from the Aquatic Pathology unit, was demonstrated at the PESCALEX final Workshop organised by CETMAR at the IGAFA training facilities in Galicia, Spain. The tool assists in the process of diagnosis of fish diseases and in The shipment of detailed accurate history from the fishfarm to the expert.
