The IOC Ocean Literacy Portal is a worldwide one-stop shop that provides resources and content available to all, with the goal of creating an ocean-literate society able to make informed and responsible decisions on ocean resources and ocean sustainability.

Card Game

A game to bring Offshore renewables jobs to children

Players can work out job profiles by mimicking, drawing and asking questions to get a better knowledge of the jobs. The game is targeted towards teachers and parents for use with children and teenagers. Available to download in Spanish, English, Italian and French.

Salmon Ladder

Be the first player to reach 100.
Players take turns to throw the dice. The colored counter then moves to the correct square. If a counter lands on the mouth of a salmon, the counter moves down to its tail. If a counter lands at the bottom of a ladder, the counter moves up the ladder. When a coin lands on a waterfall, it falls to the top of the waterfall.
